The Visit: An After-Death Communication and the Eternal Light of Love
There are moments in life when the veil thins—when eternity brushes against the ordinary and reminds us that love never truly ends. What I’m about to share is one of those moments: my experience of an after-death communication, or ADC.
After the devastating loss of my love—the father of my son—I sank into a darkness I could not escape. My son began therapy, but I neglected myself. Each day I slid deeper into depression, until I felt like I was barely existing.
One sleepless night, in the dim glow of a single light, the room suddenly illuminated. Not from a bulb—but from him.
He stood before me, radiant, youthful, whole. He wasn’t lit by light; he was the light. His aura filled the space. At first stunned, I realized he was speaking to me—not with words, but telepathically. He repeated a message until I finally listened. As I did, the heaviness I had carried dissolved, and I felt love. So much love.
With a smile I knew so well, he leaned in. As he “fell into me,” a cool rush of energy filled my body. The light faded, and he was gone. Yet I wasn’t left empty—I was filled with joy, lifted by the certainty that he was still with me.
Akashic Insight
The Akashic Records remind us: the soul does not die. Death belongs only to the body, a temporary garment worn for a season of experience. When it is laid down, the essence—your eternal spirit—remains whole and luminous. Energy cannot be destroyed; it only transforms. And so, the soul returns to Source—not as something lost, but as something rejoined with the infinite from which it came.
Reflection
I later learned there was a name for what I had experienced: ADC, or after-death communication. But even before I had words for it, his visit reminded me of a truth my heart had always known: we go on. We are never alone. Love remains eternal.
That visit was the beginning of my healing. It was the reminder that even when the body is gone, the soul lives on, and that every return to Source is simply a return home.
Closing Thought
ADCs are not just stories of the departed visiting the living. They are sacred reminders of our eternal nature. We are souls, carried always by love, and every separation is only temporary in the vast rhythm of Source.
